Awards

During your time with us at the 3rd you will be working towards your Chief Scouts Gold award, this is the hardest badge you will earn while you are with us. Every single adventure you go on with us will be a steppingstone that helps to lead you towards the Chiefs Scout Gold Award!

Chief Scout’s Gold Award

This is the highest award a Scout can earn. To complete it, you need to complete all nine of the Challenge Awards, plus six Activity badges.

Challenge Awards

Challenge Awards are all about stepping outside your comfort zone. Try out something you wouldn’t normally be interested in. Take the lead on something that scares you. Along the way, you’ll unlock hidden talents and stand tall.

Activity & Staged Badges

Master something you love or try something shiny and new. If it spurs you on or stirs your interest, we’ve probably got a badge for it. At the 3rd you will be able to choose which badges you complete in troop forums; you can also choose to do some of the 74 badges at home!
