Our HQ is based on our own small stretch of land behind Albion Street in Crewe. At the group we have four sections with children from ages 4 to 14.
Welcome to the 3rd South West Cheshire (Wolverton), part of the Crewe community since 1921. We’re full of history and driven by a commitment to youth development, our Leaders have a passion for providing Young People with valuable Skills For Life. Led by a dedicated team of volunteers, we hope to create a supportive and inclusive environment where every scout can discover their potential and make a positive impact on the world.
Join us on this incredible journey of adventure, friendship, and discovery. Whether you’re a seasoned Scout or new to the world of Scouting, there’s a place for you in the 3rd South West Cheshire (Wolverton) Scout Group.
Our Group began over a century ago when our 1st group of Volunteers came together with a shared mission: to empower young minds and foster a spirit of exploration and service. Since our inception, we have remained dedicated to the principles of scouting, providing a nurturing environment where young people can learn, grow, and thrive.
Over the years, we have evolved and expanded, merging with other Scout groups to strengthen and expand our abilities. Over 30 years ago we merged with the 20th SWC This change brought about a new necker which displays the red of the 3rd and the black of the 20th, not only did we gain a new necker it is also at this point that we adopted the name that we proudly have now. In 2023, we proudly welcomed the 30th South West Cheshire Scout Group, we officially absorbed their group in 2024.
